IFC & IBC Code Adoption by State

States that have not adopted IFC 2018, 2015 or 2012 may still contain state or local agencies that have adopted an edition of the code even if the particular code is not used as a standard for all buildings. Always consult with your AHJ for specific local requirements.
Below is a map showing states that have adopted IFC 2018, 2015, or 2012.
The map below shows states that have adopted IFC or IBC 2018, 2015 or 2012. Since IBC references IFC regarding radio coverage, states that have adopted both codes will default to showing IFC information and states that have only adopted IBC 2018, 2015 or 2012 will be indicated as such.
